We are hiring a full-time Technician Supervisor, effective immediately, as part of our growing team at the Animal Hospital of Chester County in West Chester!

We operate two hospitals, Country Companion Animal Hospital in Morgantown, PA and the Animal Hospital of Chester County in West Chester, PA. Between the two hospitals, our team includes 7 doctors and 20+ support staff, utilizing digital radiographs, ultrasound, digital dental radiographs, in-house CBC and Chemistry machines, in house PT/PTT machine, therapeutic laser, and full surgical facilities.

This position will be located at our West Chester, PA practice. Hours would be a set, revolving schedule working 35-38 hours per week, with more hours available if desired. Schedule involves working one to two Saturdays per month. Our hospitals are open Monday through Saturday, 8:30am – 5:30pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 8:30am – 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and 8:30am – 12:00pm every other Saturday.

Job requirements include but are not limited to:

• Running canine and feline anesthesia
• Placing IV catheters, understanding and administering medications
• Restraining animals safely, communicating well with clients and team members, being self-motivated
• Operating in house lab equipment, and being proficient in computer operating systems
• Supervising day-to-day functions of technician and kennel staff

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a veterinary technician in a dynamic environment, with demonstrated ability to perform job requirements as outlined above

Prior supervisory experience is preferred, but not required. Veterinary Technician certification is also preferred, but not required.
