South Rhea Animal Hospital is a privately owned small animal clinic that provides majority of care to dogs and cats, however, we also see exotic, small mammals, ruminates, pigs, and other varieties of species. We have been serving our rural community for 30 years providing compassionate personalized care. We have built strong relationships with our clients who trust us to care for their pets like family. As a close knit team we value collaboration, teamwork, mentorship, and flexibility. We are seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian who shares our passion for high quality, individualized patient care.
This position is ideal for a Veterinarian who enjoys practicing a wide range of medicine and surgery in a supportive environment and where your professional growth is encouraged. We hope to find a Veterinarian who is excited to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients through communication and education, provide surgical/medical/dental care to small animals. We encourage case discussions, mentorship, and extended continuing education for special interests. Come collaborate with our experienced support staff with five licensed technicians who deliver excellent patient care.
We have all the basic equipment to practice up to date quality medication such as digital radiography, dental radiographs, in house bloodwork and urinalysis, imagyst cytology/fecal, phovia light therapy, surgical suite, and much more.
We offer competitive salary and flexible scheduling depending on each candidates needs. We have mentorship available for newer graduates for a slow introduction or welcome independent experienced clinicians ready to jump in! Basics like PTO, CE allowance, licensing and dues are all covered. We also offer an insurance stipend and supplemental vision/dental.

Requirements
DVM or VMD
Tennesse State license or in process
Optional DEA license
Recommended or bonus USDA Accreditation
