Description
Antioch Dog and Cat Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking an Experienced or New Graduate Veterinarian to join our growing team!About Us: Antioch Dog and Cat Hospital is a full-service general practice offering the best in medical and surgical care. Our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound. We also utilize the services of a traveling radiology technician to perform abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms once a week.
Our surgery suite was just recently upgraded and has a heated v-tray hydraulic table, 2 surgical lights, kennels for surgical patients, and a separate wet table for dentistry. We have a large dentistry caseload at our hospital, so candidates interested in dentistry would have their own surgery/dentistry day(s). All our patients undergoing anesthesia are required to have pre-op lab work, IV catheter, and IV fluids. For orthopedic and advanced soft tissue surgeries, we use a mobile surgeon or refer to one of the nearby specialty centers.
Most importantly, we have a phenomenal, well-educated, and experienced support staff, with a 3:1 technician to doctor ratio. We have low turnover, with some of our employees' tenure being over 20 years! We have worked very hard to build and maintain a positive practice culture and our team is family-oriented and nurturing. Our associate would be a great mentor in dentistry, preventative medicine, and client education. We also have a great reputation within the community and have a wonderful, loyal client base.
Schedule? The schedule is flexible, with rotating Saturdays. We truly believe in work/life balance and will do our best to accommodate your desired schedule! There are no on-call responsibilities since we have several referral/emergency locations nearby. You can learn more at antiochdog-cathospital.com.
