Associate Veterinarian – Northside Animal Hospital (Madison, WI)
Northside Animal Hospital is an AAHAaccredited small animal practice located on Madison’s beautiful north side. Position: Associate Veterinarian
As a member of our veterinary team, you’ll work alongside experienced doctors and skilled technicians in a stateoftheart facility. You’ll see a wide range of small animal cases—from wellness exams and vaccinations to dental work, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and more Northside Animal Hospital.
What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate preventative and diagnostic care, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental cleanings, spays/neuters, and inhouse diagnostics
- Perform soft tissue surgeries with client education and followup support
- Collaborate with team members in internal medicine, allergy/dermatology, nutrition, and palliative/endoflife care
- Communicate clearly with pet owners, answering questions and building lasting client relationships
What We’re Looking For
- DVM or VMD degree with valid Wisconsin license (or ability to obtain)
- New grads welcome—mentorship available—or several years of experience in companion animal practice
- Strong communication skills and a passion for building petowner relationships
