Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited US veterinary school
- Active veterinary license (or eligibility for licensure) in Iowa
- Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills with a commitment to practicing high-quality medicine
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team members
- Compassionate, client-focused approach with a dedication to strengthening the human–animal bond
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to ongoing learning, professional development, and continuing education
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and case load effectively
- Willingness to contribute to and uphold a positive, fun, and supportive clinic culture
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical setting
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with surgical procedures, dentistry, or specialty areas
- Interest in mentorship and/or leadership development
- Familiarity with digital medical records, modern diagnostic equipment, and current best practices
