Job Description:
As a Veterinarian at Animal Medical Clinic you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, perform routine exams, diagnostics, and surgeries, and educate pet owners about preventative care. You will also work closely with a dedicated support staff, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality medical care to animals, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.
Perform routine health checks, vaccinations, and preventative care.
Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgery.
Communicate with pet owners about treatment options, aftercare, and overall health.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure quality and efficiency.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Stay current with developments in veterinary medicine through continuing education.
Qualifications:
DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Active state veterinary license.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor.
Ability to handle a variety of animals and medical situations with confidence.
