Description

Slatersville Veterinary Clinic is currently a two doctor, privately owned veterinary practice in Northern RI.  The owner has 21 years of experience and graduated from Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine.  Mentoring would be available as needed.  We have staff and CSRs that are like family, and treat our clients with respect and compassion.  We typically see urgent and "problem" and wellness appointments. We also offer in house surgery, lab work, dentistry, full surgical monitoring, radiology and dental radiographs. Routine wellness labwork is offered and recommended in each appointment. Radiograph interpretation is available.  We have an outside company that travels to do ultrasounds and echocardiograms in-house, which are read by board certified internal medicine specialists and cardiologists.  We practice high quality medicine in a family-oriented environment.  We are flexible with schedules, as most of our staff have children and the owner's children (18.16. and 12) help out on their breaks from school.  We would be willing to hire full time or part time veterinarians. Some vet tech students do their clinical portion of their program at our practice. The job would entail seeing client appointments, minor procedures, and a surgery day (if desired). Complex surgeries and orthopedic surgeries are referred. A flexible schedule (four 10 hour days or 5 days with several half days) would be accommodated.  We try to treat all patients as we would treat our own animals. We have a 401K, health insurance and paid CE, time off, and licenses.

Requirements

DVM or VMD, surgical interest and/or veterinary experience would be a bonus.
