Pennsauken Animal Hospital is currently seeking motivated and forward-thinking, full-time General Practice or Urgent Care veterinarian (or someone interested in a hybrid role) to join our empowered, dedicated, diverse team
Join in providing exceptional veterinary care at our privately owned veterinary practice located in Pennsauken, NJ. Our services include wellness, urgent care, sick visits, dentistry, and surgery. We offer digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, an in-house laboratory, and a fully stocked pharmacy. We work hard to maintain relationships with existing clients as well as focusing on community outreach and reaching new clients. We pride ourselves on client education and our staff ensures that we answer any questions that clients may have during, and after, their visits with us.
Additionally, we completed a major expansion in 2024, adding additional exam rooms, a dedicated office/meeting room space, and advanced surgical capabilities. Our new 18,000 square foot 3 story building includes dedicated urgent care space including inpatient wards, an ICU, and isolation wards, a dedicated primary care and surgery and dental suites, and an onsite Antech STAT lab.

Responsibility: The Associate Veterinarian delivers medical, surgical and inpatient care to patients. The Associate Veterinarian plays a key role in building and maintaining client relationships as well as staff relationships. May assist in supervising staff members in daily medical duties when a supervisor is not available.
Requirements
Experience as a D.V.M. in a practice is desirable, but not required. Excellent mentorship available.
D.V.M. licensed in NJ
D.E.A licensed in NJ
Continuing education achievements, beyond licensing requirements.
Able to recognize that teamwork is essential for a quality practice.
Ability to work as a team member as well as a doctor.
Professional and personable demeanor and able to use tact and diplomacy with staff members and clients.
Perform data entry of medical records and utilize practice software.
