- General Practice Veterinarian
Description
Happy Tails Veterinary Hospital is looking for a new team member — and it could be YOU!
We are an AAHA-accredited, privately owned small animal hospital in Pasadena, MD, just minutes from beautiful Downs Park. We offer a mix of traditional and integrative veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets — including birds, reptiles, and small mammals.
We are currently seeking a General Practice Veterinarian to join our team. You should be comfortable working with dogs and cats, if you do not have exotic animal experience, we require an interest in training in their care.
Do you wish you had more time to spend with your clients and patients?
Are you frustrated by having to rush through appointments or skip important details due to time constraints?
Would you like to feel more connected to your local community?
Do you enjoy diving deep into complex cases and practicing thoughtful, individualized medicine?
At Happy Tails, we understand that quality care takes time. That’s why we operate as a High-Touch, Low-Volume Hospital. This model prioritizes longer appointment times, robust diagnostics, and thorough client education — all to support meaningful, long-term patient relationships.
We’re looking for someone who is less focused on the number of patients seen per day and more passionate about improving each patient’s quality and length of life. We want our next doctor to treat patients like family and enjoy the freedom to practice comprehensive medicine without feeling rushed.
What We Offer:
We take your work-life balance, professional development, and long-term career goals seriously. Our culture is built on transparency, compassion, and personal responsibility.
We support YOU with:
A competitive base salary of $100,000 to $150,000, based on experience, plus a production-based model with no negative accrual

Flexible scheduling with your choice of: 3x12, 4x10, or 5x8 shifts
