Licensed Veterinary Technician Wanted (Full time or Part time)

At All About Cats Veterinary Hospital, you would spend your days in the company of felines, their caregivers, and a medical team focused on excellent feline veterinary care. Our cat-only clinic in Kirkland looking for an LVT to bring expertise and talent to our friendly and fun-filled practice. If you have great multi-tasking skills, medical expertise, and leadership skills, as well as great communication skills, strong computer skills, and a wonderful personality, we would love to have you join our team. We help mentor employees to gain skills and expertise in our modern, state-of-the-art facility with excellent doctors, an LVT, and Veterinary Assistants. Your duties would include:
- Assisting the Veterinarian in all medical procedures
- Managing feline treatments
- Monitoring hospitalized and surgical patients
- Performing routine dental cleanings and digital dental radiographs
- Conducting patient discharge discussions including post-operative care and medication administration
- Providing client education in-person and over the phone
- Managing in-house pharmacy and monitoring online pharmacy
- Maintaining accurate medical and pharmacy records
- Maintaining surgery, anesthesia, radiology, and QC logs
- Scheduling appointments and surgeries
- Lifting up to 40 pounds unassisted
- Working on your feet 8-10 hours per day

Requirements
We require one year of clinical experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician; if you earned your License more recently, we require one year of experience as a Technician Assistant.
