Companion Animal Hospital is excited to add you as an Associate Veterinarian! Our team located in Lakeland, Florida prides themselves on their collaborative culture that integrates a variety of medical and surgical cases, while supporting you in your professional aspirations. - Beautiful 3,100 square foot hospital featuring 4 exam rooms
- Highly skilled veterinary support staff that can run appointments, assist in surgery, run anesthesia, and perform dentals
- Fully electronic medical records running on Cornerstone
- Providing care not for just our furry canine and feline friends but also exotics, avian, and pocket pets too!
Background and Experience:
- Strong leadership skills (prior experience in a leadership role is a plus!)
- Ability to collaborate with our existing team
- Have a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Build and uphold existing relationships with the local community
- Be hardworking, honest, and confident in your abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow relationships within the practice and the community
- Encourage the growth of support staff members
- Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments
- Oversee the medical care of all patients
- Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses
- Partner with hospital leadership to ensure medical quality
- Assist Practice Manager with the staffing and scheduling
Compensation:
We offer flexible compensation options: choose between base salary, salary + production, or production only—whichever style fits your needs the best! We’re also offering a generous sign-on bonus and no negative accrual for this role.
