Mixed Animal Associate Veterinarian
Location: Ridgway, Colorado
Ridgway Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time mixed animal associate veterinarian to join our independently owned, 2.5-doctor practice in beautiful Ridgway, Colorado. Nestled at the foot of the San Juan Mountains, Ridgway is a paradise for outdoor lovers—whether you’re into ice climbing in Ouray, off-roading on Engineer Pass, hiking Mount Sneffels, or skiing in Telluride (just 45 minutes away).
Our clinic is well-equipped with IDEXX in-house lab machines, IDEXX Neo software, digital radiology and dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a Snyder oxygen cage. We have a vet truck for mobile large animal work. While our caseload has been primarily small animals, we’re actively looking to grow our large animal services—making this an exciting opportunity for someone interested in true mixed animal practice, including the potential to see exotics if desired.
We’re proud to be part of Ridgway’s small but vibrant community and to have close relationships with our clients. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who wants to practice high-quality medicine in a relaxed, small-town mountain setting.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with general medicine, surgery, and urgent care of multiple species. A flexible schedule is available, with the current preference being three 12-hour shifts per week. An employee rental apartment is also available.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $120,000–$140,000/year depending on experience
