Part-Time Veterinarian

Snowflake Pet Center is seeking a part-time Veterinarian to join our established, private, small animal practice. We are a family-owned, full-service veterinary hospital in Milford, CT that has been serving the local community since 1969. About the Position

We are a busy, full-service practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to dogs and cats. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general medicine, including routine appointments, surgery, and dentistry. This role requires excellent communication skills, a confident demeanor around pets, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Our hospital is well-equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical tools, including:

• In-house IDEXX diagnostics
• Digital and dental radiology
• Ultrasound
• Fully equipped surgical and dental suite

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent degree)
• Active veterinary license in the State of Connecticut
• Current DEA License or obtained upon hire
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain medical details in simple, empathetic terms
