Founded in 1987, Canyon Crossroads Animal Hospital has been a cornerstone of the community, dedicated to fostering the human-animal bond through compassionate, individualized care. Our practice is wholly independent, ensuring medical decisions are driven by the veterinarian-client-patient relationship—free from outside influence.
We pride ourselves on providing excellent patient care supported by a highly capable team and state-of-the-art equipment, including:
- Advanced anesthesia monitoring: Doppler, capnography, and full Cardell capabilities.
- Digital diagnostics: Digital radiographs and dental imaging.
- Ultrasound: Equipped with modern Sound Ultrasound technology.
- Laboratory services: Extensive in-house Idexx laboratory testing.

Job Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Licensed, or eligible for licensure, to practice veterinary medicine in New Mexico
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficiency in routine surgical procedures and dentistry (mentorship available if needed)
- Ability to interpret and utilize diagnostic tools including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house lab equipment
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of patient care and medical ethics
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with compassion and efficiency
