About Us:
We are a privately-owned, small animal general practice in Eastern Iowa that provides exceptional care to cats, dogs, and exotic pets. We currently have 3 locations, including Fairfax, Cedar Rapids, and Marion, Iowa.
Our Locations: Fairfax, Cedar Rapids, and Marion are three vibrant communities in Eastern Iowa, each with its own unique charm, yet all offering a high quality of life, affordability, and access to nature. A DVM settling in this area can expect a welcoming Midwestern atmosphere with a blend of small-town charm and city conveniences. Fairfax offers a quieter, more suburban lifestyle, while Cedar Rapids, the second-largest city in the state, provides a vibrant mix of cultural attractions, shopping, dining, and outdoor activities along the Cedar River. Marion, just northeast of Cedar Rapids, combines a strong sense of community with parks, schools, and growing amenities. The area has a strong economy, good schools, and affordable living, making it an appealing place for families and professionals alike.
Our Hospitals and Team:
We are a dynamic, passionate team of 6 DVMs, and amazing, trained support staff dedicated to providing exceptional care and client education. Our services include comprehensive wellness and vaccine exams, office and sick visits, and a wide range of surgeries, such as spay/neuter, mass removals, exploratory/foreign body surgeries, and dental procedures. We also offer extensive in-house laboratory testing and advanced imaging, including ultrasound and digital x-rays, with access to CT scans and echocardiograms at Marion. Our facilities feature multiple exam rooms, a surgery suite with full anesthesia monitoring, and state-of-the-art dental equipment, including digital dental x-rays. We are always eager to invest in additional equipment to enhance our services and support our veterinarians in providing the best possible care.
Our Externship:
We are offering 1,2 or 4 week externships to students with a weekly stipend.
