Veterinarian – Radnor Veterinary Hospital (AAHA Accredited) | Wayne, PA
Radnor Veterinary Hospital is seeking a passionate veterinarian to join our collaborative, multi-doctor team. Located just west of Philadelphia in the affluent Main Line area, our AAHA-accredited hospital offers an exceptional opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a progressive, well-equipped, and academically affiliated environment.
About Us:
We are a full-service small animal and exotics practice with a diverse caseload—approximately 50% canine/feline and 50% exotics, including small mammals, reptiles, birds, and wildlife. As an affiliate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, we host 3rd- and 4th-year veterinary students who rotate through our hospital to gain hands-on experience in exotic pet and wildlife medicine.
Our hospital features:
- Digital dental and table radiography
- Endoscopy, CT, and fluoroscopy
- Weekly visits from a board-certified ultrasonographer and cardiologist
- A full surgical suite for both soft tissue and orthopedic procedures
- On-site boarding and dog daycare
Position Overview:
The hired candidate will be responsible for the medical and surgical management of both routine and complex cases in companion animals and exotics. Daily collaboration among our team of nine doctors ensures strong mentorship, continuity of care, and a positive learning environment.
Work Schedule:
- 3 days per week focused on appointments
- 1 dedicated surgery day per week
- Every 3rd Saturday: half-day appointments (until noon)
Qualifications:
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Active Pennsylvania veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong interest in exotic pet medicine required; experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
