Description
Want to work somewhere where what you say matters? Come check out Valley Veterinary Clinic, where everyone is an integral part to our clinic’s success! We believe in a staff centric hospital where all team members are willing and able to assist each other allowing us to maximize our daily potential and ultimately help more patients. In fact, we like working with each other so much, we often meet after work or on weekends for game night (if you enjoy magic, dnd, or just want to get nerdy, come join!).
At Valley Vet, we focus on improving our clinic daily. Through our leadership team, lead organizers, and individual team members, when a good idea is heard, we make it happen!
Over the years, we have hired several new graduates (5 of our 7 doctors started as new graduates!). From these lovely folks, we have been able to hone in our mentorship program, and we have created a new graduate training program to make the stressors of a new job less scary and ultimately more productive. All of our doctors work well with each other and are available to lend a hand, an ear, or advice at any time.
The clinic itself has both a small and large animal facility surrounded by 20 acres of wetlands. Outdoor picnic areas, and walking trails are available to the team at any time (you can even walk our clinic dog Mando - he’s also game for mid morning snuggles).
With our large team, Valley Vet is capable of many things. We strive to find a balance between our client’s needs as well as the needs of our staff. We are always game for new ideas, and we have vast opportunities for areas of growth. All of our staff are eligible for paid CE, and we have a plan annually to get as many people to attend seminars throughout the year as possible.
Currently, we are looking for a veterinarian to add to our team. Depending on your interests, this position could either be strictly small, or predominately small with a dabble in large animal (1 day a week in large). All of our doctors do a combination of appointments and surgery tailored to their skill level. We also have a very flexible doctor schedule and can often accommodate scheduling needs (need a 3 week vacation in August, or Tuesdays off for roping, let us know). We offer excellent health care and provide sick pay, vacation pay, as well as a 401k plan with a sweet match percent.
If all this sounds like a place that would work for you, let us know and apply below! To find out more information about the clinic, visit our website at valleyveternaryclinic.net or our Facebook page @valleyvetrainier.
