Description
Pleasantburg Veterinary Clinic in Greenville, South Carolina, is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our 3-doctor team.
We’re searching for a compassionate veterinarian that values collaboration, enjoys a varied caseload, and will fit in perfectly with our positive culture. We’re an excellent choice for veterinarians of all experience levels. Must be licensed, or able to become licensed, in South Carolina for consideration.
This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling. Ability to work Saturdays is a plus (8a.m. – noon). We typically have 2 veterinarians working each day. There are no emergency or on-call services for this position, thanks to our partnership with a nearby UrgentVets.

Compensation:
We offer flexible compensation options: choose between base salary, salary + production, or production only—whichever style fits your needs the best! We’re also offering a generous sign-on bonus and no negative accrual for this role.

With more than 160 years of combined experience, our team of 3 doctors and 10+ support team members have provided top notch care to small animals in Greenville since 1981. We have state-of-the-art digital x-ray equipment, an in-house diagnostic laboratory, a fully appointed surgical suite, grooming and boarding services, and more. Our DVM team has special interests in dermatology, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and nutrition. Both of our associate doctors worked as assistants at our clinic during their college years and received mentorship and guidance from Dr. McElveen. We’re excited to welcome a fourth doctor to our team and are a wonderful clinic for those seeking mentorship.
