Stuart Sound Animal Hospital is excited to add you as an Associate Veterinarian! • Multi-doctor, full-service animal hospital
• Home to one of the only positive-pressure ventilated operating rooms on the Treasure Coast
• Digital radiology, ultrasound, in-house diagnostics

Background and Experience:

• Strong leadership skills (prior experience in a leadership role is a plus!)
• Ability to collaborate with our existing team (5 DVMs, 3 LVTs, and 25+ support members)
• Have a strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Build and uphold existing relationships with the local community
• Be hardworking, honest, and confident in your abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Grow relationships within the practice and the community 
• Encourage the growth of support staff members
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments 
• Oversee the medical care of all patients  
• Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses 
• Partner with hospital leadership to ensure medical quality 
• Assist Practice Manager with the staffing and scheduling

Compensation:
We offer flexible compensation options: choose between base salary, salary + production, or production only—whichever style fits your needs the best! We’re also offering a generous sign-on bonus and no negative accrual for this role.

Stuart Sound Animal Hospital has been serving the Stuart, Hobe Sound, Palm City, and surrounding areas on the Atlantic coast of Florida for over a decade. In 2013, we opened a state-of-the-art facility with advanced technology for small animal veterinary care. Our hospital features digital radiology, ultrasonography, and in-house diagnostic tests. Notably, we are home to one of the only positive-pressure ventilated operating rooms on the Treasure Coast. We are a growing multi-doctor practice focused on providing top-notch care for sunny Florida's pets.
