Description
The Humane Society of Utah is in search of a passionate, collaborative veterinarian for full-time work at both of our Murray and St. George, Utah clinics to conduct surgeries (mostly HQHVSN and dentals) and hopefully grow with the clinic over time.
The benefits of working with a nonprofit clinic are immense and impactful:
- Not feeling controlled by corporate medicine. We need veterinarians who just want to practice medicine and help needy animals and their community.
- We create a supportive learning environment with no sales goals.
- Competitive pay with a full benefits package, including 100% health insurance coverage and dues/training covered.
- A 4-day workweek with no after-hours shifts with a true work/life balance and at least 27 days PTO annually.
- Mentorship from an experienced veterinarian and surgeon in HQHVSN, dentals, and other surgeries.
- A fun, supportive, and wellness-based workplace.
- Meaningful work, knowing that you’re making an immense difference in the lives of animals who would often otherwise be unable to access care.
- Eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) loan repayment program.
The Humane Society of Utah is not able to offer sponsorship for those in need of H1B visas.
