Veterinarian Wanted: Practice Gold-Standard Medicine with a 5-Star Team!
Are you a veterinarian who loves practicing the best medicine and working with coworkers who make every day better? If you answered “YES!” then Hanover Animal Hospital in Hanover, VA, might just be your perfect match.
We’re a privately owned, small-animal general practice conveniently located off Route 301 (near the 295 interchange). Our spacious hospital features:
- 5 exam rooms
- Large treatment area & roomy surgery suite
- Multiple kennel areas for comfort & organization
- Up-to-date equipment, including dental radiographs, digital radiography, Butterfly ultrasound, therapeutic & surgical lasers, surgical electrocautery, and a full in-house lab (Idexx Procyte, Catalyst, Sedivue, inVue DX Cellular Analyzer for ear cytology's, blood smears, and FNAs.

The right candidate will:
- Educate clients on preventative care with enthusiasm
- Perform routine surgeries & dentals with confidence
- Believe (non-sarcastically!) that “teamwork makes the dream work”
- Adapt well — we’re transitioning from paper records to EzyVet
- Have 1–2 years of experience (preferred) — but new grads are welcome!
What we offer:
- Competitive salary (from $120,000/year) + commission (no negative accrual, no non-compete)
- 4-day work week, no weekends or on-call
