Our beautiful and spacious hospital is an institution in our area where we serve the heavily “pet centric” culture of Asheville and the surrounding regions.
We love working in our newly remodeled, 20,000+ sq ft hospital which includes major updates like an expanded treatment area and triage suite, 9+ exam rooms, remodeled medicine area, dedicated ICU with a feline friendly ward, a separate lab and 3 well equipped surgical suites.
Our large conference room allows us to host frequent CE events which are very popular with our local referral community.
We use ezyVet to make medical records a breeze, we have a CT, HBOT chamber, two digital radiology suites, 3 ultrasound machines, and 2 endoscopy units.
Imaging is read by MedVet radiologists so you can connect with internal colleagues if you have a question.

Qualifications:
DVM degree from an AVMA-recognized institution
Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of your program
Employment interview with background check
Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty members with knowledge of applicant’s clinical abilities and communication skills (new grads)

ECMP is a 1-year training program with a 1 year ER commitment with your training hospital. It starts with mentored training and specialty rotations as you develop your ER clinical expertise. In the 2nd year you will be a full ER doctor earning salary plus production pay!
