Description
Flower Mound Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center is located in a brand-new building, which opened in July 2022. Located in Flower Mound, Texas, just north of Dallas, this new building hosts emergency services and our growing specialties. While the ER and Dentistry teams are already well-established in the area, we are excited to expand our expertise in the area with boarded surgeons, internists, ophthalmologists, oncologists, radiologists, cardiologists and dermatologists.We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Internist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about building their own service within an established practice. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to achieving the highest standards of clinical excellence and personalized care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and build your own internal medicine service within the practice
- Collaborate with our team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to provide comprehensive care
- Diagnose and treat a variety of complex medical conditions in small animals
- Work closely with pet owners to educate them on their pet's condition, treatment options, and ongoing care
- Participate in continuing education and stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary internal medicine
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Qualifications:
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Board certification or residency-trained in veterinary internal medicine
- Strong desire to build and develop a new service within the practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized care to patients and clients
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
