What You’ll Do
As an extern, you’ll:
Assist in diagnosing and treating a variety of animal species.
Observe and participate in medical procedures, surgeries, and dental cleanings.
Conduct laboratory tests, radiology, and other diagnostic tasks.
Practice effective communication skills with pet owners and clients.
Work closely with the veterinary team to understand the daily operations of a busy clinic or hospital.
Key Areas:
Veterinary care, animal health, surgery observation, diagnostics, patient care, client education, clinical learning, team collaboration, small animal medicine, large animal medicine, and exotic animal care (if applicable).

Eligibility
Currently enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program.
Eligibility is for 1-4th years
