We are searching for a full-time veterinary associate to expand our AAHA-Accredited, Fear Free, two doctor practice to a three doctor practice. Saturday appointment are seen on a rotating basis and no after hour emergencies. Candidate must have at least 4 years of veterinary experience, be proficient in surgery, dentistry, and possess excellent people communication skills. Applicant must be a Licensed DVM
State Veterinary Board License must be in good standing for Maryland, prior to their start date
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include Saturday and/or evening hours until 8pm
Have great beside manner with clients and patients
Works to live and does not live to work
Participates in training, continuing education, research, and conservation
Intermediate computer skills with ability to learn and effectively use all BVC software
Discuss all health issues, nutritional recommendations, and preventatives
Interact with the technicians and receptionists in a friendly and professional manner
Build your own clients who will then want to see you personally
NOTES:
Additional Salary Information: Salary is based on a combination of a base salary plus production. Doctors are paid once per month.
