Come to work in Montana!  Patient care is our priority and pets are our passion.  Amherst Animal Hospital, a full service, AAHA accredited practice is looking for an associate veterinarian that shares our passion for pets to join our team.  We are located in beautiful southwest Montana between Glacier National Park and Yellowstone Park.  Butte is in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise.  The Continental Divide is within minutes of our clinic with access to the nationally acclaimed Continental Divide Trail.  We have world class mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, hiking and camping just a short drive away. We have many blue ribbon lakes, rivers and streams nearby offering some of the best fishing in the northwest.  Our vibrant community has  a rich and colorful history.

We are looking for an associate to join our current medical staff of four veterinarians.    The doctors rotate between patient receiving and surgery.  Besides routine surgeries and dental prophylaxis, we do many soft tissue surgeries and orthopedic procedures.  For orthopedic cases, we utilize external fixators, bone plates, IM pins, and TPLO plating.  We do endoscopy, as well as ultrasonography.    After hours emergency care is provided to our clients.  The doctors share the on-call duty, averaging one night of call per week and one weekend of call per month.  Our salary is competitive and our benefit package is complete.
