Summary of Role and Function: Unlimited CE budget, flexible scheduling, employee- and family-focused practice. Bedford Oaks Family Vet in Bedford, Texas, is looking for a full or part-time associate veterinarian. We have just moved into our brand new AAHA-style hospital with all new technology (paperless, cloud-based practice management software, tablets), new equipment (upgraded dental x-ray, new IDEXX laboratory machines, digital x-ray, cold laser, etc), and aesthetic design, all designed to capture a younger, tech-enabled and family-centric audience. We have a very high staff to DVM ratio, with 4 technicians, 2 receptionists and a Practice Manager supporting our current doctors, and plan to hire more with a new DVM coming on board. Our group has a young leadership team, led by doctors who support innovation and modern technology, but are maintaining family-owned local flavor with a large emphasis on community involvement. We have significant resources and commitment to forward-thinking tools, technology, and equipment, and encourage suggestions from our employees on how to continue to make improvements. Our goal is to have an industry-leading employee experience in addition to our comprehensive benefits package (including an unlimited CE allowance!). The primary responsibilities of the associate veterinarian are to practice high-quality veterinary care, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and a dedication to continuing education and development.
