Above all else, we strive to build a supportive and safe environment, where feedback is given and taken freely to promote personal and professional growth. Dale City is known as being inviting and friendly to clients and pets as well as its work with local outreach charity programs.
Dale City Animal Hospital has been providing high standards of medicine, as well as tackling the mental health issues of professionals and patients within this community for over 30 years. To that end, we tailor doctor schedules to the individual and work to create reasonable work hours to the benefit of both the individual and the business. Developing work life balance is unique to every individual and creating that balance is something we as business strive for with each of our employees.
Dale City has been in the same building for over 3 decades. Over the course of the next year, we are endeavoring to move our site to a completely new, built-for-purpose, space within 2 miles of our current location! This is the perfect opportunity for new team members to put a bit of themselves into the new space and make Dale City their home. Alongside this move will come many equipment and aesthetic upgrades, which new DVMs can influence. Dale City is proud to have a brand new Mindray TE5 Advanced ultrasound to add to our practice. We also have DR x-rays, in house CBC and lytes processing, electrocautery, digital dental x-rays, and cold laser therapy.
Dale City Animal Hospital is located 40 minutes south of Washington DC, with metro access to the city and is commutable as far North as Old Town Alexandria. We are within 5 minutes of Potomac Mills Mall and serve a diverse community of clients. The Northern Virginia (NoVA) area has several amazing state and federal parks and is 2 hours away from a long weekend in Shenandoah National Park.
We have exceptional culture in an industry that is strongly needing that during these difficult times.
The veterinary profession isn’t like any other—it’s the only field predicated on the love of a patient who can’t tell you what’s hurting and can only look to you for help. It takes a special kind of person to do that job, or the jobs supporting that job. NVA doesn’t create those special people—we find them, cultivate them, and give them resources and opportunities to do what only they can do. Whether treating patients, managing a pet resort, or serving hospitals from NVA’s Support Center, NVA’s animal professionals are caring people, united by a love of animals. NVA is proud to honor that connection and is committed to serving our team members by providing them with the tools, support, and freedom to be the professionals they’ve always wanted to be.
