Kemin Nutrisurance is seeking a Worldwide Palatability Analysis Manager to plan, organize and complete multiple projects from development, through scale up to full production size. This role will have the ability to prioritize and execute projects according to value, cost and risk. The focus of this position will be leading worldwide palatant preference analysis, development of the method, and securing adequate and uniform preference analysis bandwidth.
Lead R&D projects, with supervision, to develop new technologies and methodologies to facilitate palatant products that are consistent with customer needs
Independently perform laboratory experiments and data analysis adhering to standard laboratory operating procedures, documentation and guidelines.
Maintain accurate and detailed electronic laboratory notebooks
Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with worldwide animal facilities, negotiating methodology, capacity and business arrangements or agreements
Foster and facilitate cross-functional collaborative behavior, relationships and activities in the workplace.
Work closely with other functional areas to ensure that new technologies are developed efficiently and on schedule.
Work closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure that preference testing meets internal and external standards.
Responsible for internal and external communication of results via scientific papers, conferences and seminars.
Responsible for clearly and concisely communicating technical results to Commercial and Technical Persons; both internal and external customers.
Monitor and read contemporary technical materials and report on new developments described in the literature and at technical meetings and conferences.
Interact with Product Management and Technical Team to address technical questions and provide solutions to problems.
Be knowledgeable in and interact with Regulatory Affairs group to ensure research efforts are in keeping with current industry and governmental policies.
