VCA Northwood Animal Hospital located in Springfield, Ohio is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.
We are a full-service hospital and have proudly been servicing the area for more than 30 years. This well-equipped facility boasts a spacious lobby, extensive treatment area, digital radiography (including dental), 6 exam rooms, a large surgery suite, as well as boarding and grooming. VCA Northwood Animal Hospital is a busy practice that offers our clients outstanding service and medical care. These services include wellness, early disease detection, dentistry, elective and routine surgeries, digital radiography, in-house bloodwork and advanced surgical procedures such as GDV, splenectomies, GI foreign body, C-section, CCL repair, etc.
Our office hours are Monday-Friday 7am-7pm and Saturday 8 am-12pm. Our Boarding facility hours are 7 days per week with scheduled pick up times on the weekends. A general work schedule is a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays. GP doctors have one surgery/dental day per week.
We are located within a reasonable commute to the cities: 40-45 minutes west of Columbus, OH and 30-40 minutes northeast of Dayton, Ohio. There are several enjoyable activities and sites to see in Springfield including nearby Yellow Springs, Buck Creek State Park, Kuss auditorium, Mother Stewarts Brewery and many summer activities and concerts at Cliff Park sponsored by the Springfield Arts council.
