Job Description

Ceres Veterinary Clinic has been established in the Ceres community for more than 50 years, providing exceptional veterinary care and outstanding client service to local pets and the people who love them. We also service the surrounding areas, including Hughson, Keyes, Turlock and Modesto .The City of Ceres is located in the central San Joaquin Valley, 80 miles south of Sacramento and 95 miles east of San Francisco, in the heart of Stanislaus County. Ceres is in one of the Central Valley's richest and most diverse agricultural areas and is the home of the new $14 million County Agriculture Center. 

Ceres has a lower cost of living as compared to the highly populated Cities and coastal towns of California and is a growing community with a heartfelt commitment to retaining its small neighborhood personality.

As the Medical Director you will oversee, lead, and mentor staff in providing the best care to each pet and heir pet owner!  We take pride in offering a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental services using progressive, modern medicine and innovative technology. To complement our doctors, we have an experienced support staff and a strong leadership team to help in your success.

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary school
• Experienced Veterinarian with active, non-restricted veterinary license in California
• Invested in building trusting relationships with clients, colleagues, and community.
• Mindset and desire to grow skills, and the desire to mentor staff to keep them growing and excelling.
• A passion for building a trusting relationship with clients, colleagues, and community
• Committed to ongoing personal education and assist in leading the development of others
• Be the most trusted partner in pet care using strong communication and interpersonal skills
