Abraham’s Equine Clinic, located just east of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is seeking an experienced practitioner with a special interest in Theriogenology to join our growing team! Known as one of the largest stallion stations in the Midwest, our premier, full-service referral hospital is well equipped to see a diverse caseload of preventative care, surgical cases, lameness, and emergency cases, in addition to offering reproductive services to both stallion and mare owners. We are fortunate to have an extremely skilled team of equine professionals who embrace excellence, integrity, and unceasing support during times of both immense challenge and victory, while being sure to have some fun along the way!
Our Ideal Candidate :
Accomplished veterinary professional with a passion for progressive Equine Medicine.
Licensed in, or the ability to obtain Veterinary Licensure, in Iowa.
Specialty training in reproductive techniques, including high success rates with embryo transfer (preferred).
Motivated and dedicated to outstanding client service and patient care, you enjoy interacting and building relationships with clientele and coworkers.
You enjoy having the opportunity to mentor, guide and support professional development for all colleagues, interns, and staff to provide personal growth, as well as efficient and effective partnership in patient care.

Practice Facilities : located on 29 lush acres, with 12 paddocks and 6 larger pastures for turnout, we have 6 barns with a total of 68 stalls, and usually stand approximately 15 stallions. Our facilities house a reproductive center with an embryo transfer program and foaling services, an ICU unit, isolation barn, full-service laboratory, radiology suite, surgical suite, endoscopy, ultrasound, mesotherapy, shockwave therapy, PRP and IRAP, as well as offering 24-hour ambulatory services.
Abraham’s Equine Clinic sits on 29 acres, in southeastern Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The hospital houses a laboratory, radiology suite, endoscopy, surgery suite, and reproductive center. Our reproduction program and breeding facility are home to many of the leading equine sires in the Midwestern United States. Clinic buildings include 6 barns with 48 stalls, including the intensive care unit and isolation barn. Additionally, our clinic has 12 paddocks and 6 rolling pastures for turnout. Both individual and group tours are welcome, but are scheduled by appointment only.
