Emergency Veterinarian - Pet Emergency & Trauma Services - Bozeman, MT ($15,000 Sign on Bonus)
Pet Emergency & Trauma Services is part of the Lakefield Veterinary Group—a family-owned company that offers support and resources to hospital teams while empowering them to make decisions about how they practice medicine and show up for their communities.
Pet Emergency & Trauma Services is looking to welcome a Full-Time Emergency Veterinarian with a minimum of 2 years experience (preference given to those with ER experience) to our team and rapidly growing hospital!
Our Culture:
At Pet Emergency & Trauma Services, we believe the best way to provide compassionate, quality care to pets is by putting relationships—with our clients, patients, Team Members, and community—at the heart of everything we do.
We are dedicated to treating your family friend as if it were our own
Our team atmosphere is collaborative, upbeat, and optimistic
We love to learn + think OUTSIDE THE BOX
We will provide mentorship opportunities!
We’re a close-knit group of experienced veterinary professionals that pride ourselves on our ability to offer mentorship, support, and a collaborative workplace. In addition to taking care of pets, we also take care of each other. We create an environment where personal health and well-being is important and every individual matters.
Our Team:
Jennifer Ladd, Medical Director aims to promote a healthy workplace culture whilst providing exceptional gold-standard medicine. Dr. Ladd completed a BA of Zoology at CSU and worked abroad for several years before returning to veterinary school at Oklahoma State where she completed additional work/research with Chimpanzees in Central Africa. Although her broad interests encompass marine mammal medicine, African wildlife and conservation, and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, she discovered a love of emergency medicine. Perhaps all those years of travel, exciting experiences, and adventure instilled a need for a good adrenaline rush or two. Dr. Ladd loves mentoring fellow doctors and encourages growth and development in their area of interest. Dr. Ladd encourages laughter, and brevity in her practice, understanding the need to counterbalance the stress of emergency medicine. She also loves to travel and explore with her 2 daughters, and encourages her staff to do the same. Dr. Ladd is a member of VECCS, AVMA, and AHVMA.
Our Values:
The way we approach our work matters. Our core values—do the right thing, fun, wow service, respect, and learning—guide everything we do at Pet Emergency & Trauma Center.
Community Impact:
Our commitment to pets extends beyond our hospital walls.
Our Team Members also have the opportunity to give back to communities around the globe through our partnership with World Vets. Each year, we send a group of doctors and support staff abroad to help pets in need and support programs that nurture healthy relationships between people and animals.
