We are a regional leader in affordable quality veterinary care looking for a Medical Director to serve as a leader and mentor to our staff. At Stand for Animals we strive to achieve patient focused practical medicine. Our goal is to work with owners regardless of their financial constraints to provide their pets with quality treatment options and care.

OUR MISSION:

Our mission is twofold – to offer the best pet care for your companion animals and to reduce the number of dogs and cats euthanized in regional shelters by making spay neuter services available at an affordable price.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team oriented Medical Director whose primary responsibilities will include providing excellent patient care, overseeing the facility, and fostering a positive and compassionate environment for both our staff and patients.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Serve as a mentor to our veterinary staff, providing guidance and support
• Oversee the operations and facilities of the hospital
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement policies and procedures
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and share knowledge with the team
• Contribute to the growth and success of the practice

• Offer HQHVSN, General Veterinary Care including elective surgery and dental procedures
• 50+ Staff
• Open 4 days a week; doctors work 4 days
• Clinics in Charlotte, Lake Norman and Pineville
• Collaborative medical and administrative team
• Offer outpatient affordable care including wellness visits, sick visits and surgery consults
• We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization that qualifies as an eligible practice for public service loan forgiveness

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:

• Generous Compensation, starting range $120,000 + signing bonus available

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prefer 5 Years of Veterinary Clinic Experience
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
• Licensure in North Carolina or Ability to Obtain Licensure
