Salary will be negotiated based on experience and is paid on a production basis. Applicant could expect to make $100,000 to $150,000 per year as a full-time veterinarian once sufficiently integrated into the practice. Small animal service compensation is paid as a minimum of 20% gross earnings and large animal is paid as a minimum of 30% gross earning.

Responsibilities: Lakeview animal clinic is seeking a full-time mixed animal veterinarian for our rapidly growing, mixed animal practice in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities would include in-house dog and cat medicine and surgery as well as ambulatory large animal services for equine and food animals. Flexible work schedule with rotating Saturday work and rotating emergency on-call hours
Qualifications: VMD or DVM, fully licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. New graduates or experienced veterinarians are encouraged to apply. We would also consider hiring a small animal only veterinarian if the right candidate is found.

Patient case load: In-house small animal case load: General small animal medicine and surgery, dog and cat only. Ambulatory large animal services: Majority equine with minority cattle and occasional small ruminants and swine.
NEW CONSTRUCTION: Starting the spring of 2024 we will be starting construction on a brand new, fully equipped small animal hospital with 6-8 exam rooms, surgery and dental suites, dedicated bereavement room, ultrasound and digital radiograph suites, office space, and staff lounge. The practice is currently equipped with a full in-house Idexx lab, in-house and portable digital radiography, in-house and portable ultrasound, digital dental radiography, paperless management and medical records (AviMark), two fully stocked vet trucks for ambulatory service with a full size Bayhorse and Stonewell vet boxes . Office hours include Mon-Thurs 8am-7pm, Friday 8am-5pm, and Saturday 8am-12pm
