Company History

Faithful Friends Veterinary Care has a long and rich history within Sioux Falls. It began in 1996 as Dale Animal Hospital. Dr. Laura Byl came on staff as an associate veterinarian in 2004. She purchased the clinic in 2021 and renamed it Faithful Friends Veterinary Care. The practice has continued to grow with the addition of Dr. Kimberly Hoefert (KSU '15) in 2019 and Dr Jill Heyden (Ross '09) in 2023. We are a collaborative group that practices veterinary medicine with heart and is a cohesive, family-oriented veterinary team dedicated to supporting our patients, clients, and community.
