Company Overview
The Animal Rights Alliance, Inc, (TARA), is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides low cost, high quality spay and neuter services for feline and canines in the Hudson Valley since 2002. We operate two clinics: our mobile spay/neuter clinic for cats, travels to several surrounding counties and our stationary clinic is located in Middletown, NY., which provides spay/neuter surgeries for both canine and feline patients.
Company History
Our non-profit was formed in 1985, we started as a TNR rescue orginization. After years of helping cat and dogs, one by one, we realized the only answer to the overcrowding and euthanizing of healthy animals, would be only through mass spaying and neutering. We started out with our first mobile clinic in 2002, spaying and neutering cats only. In 2013 we purchased a building and in 2014 opened our canine and feline stationary clinic. We now perform 7-8 clinics weekly, between both our mobile and stationary clinics. We also hold a vaccine clinic one day per week.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Performed over 200,000 feline and 40,000 canine spay neuter surgeries, since 2002.
