Lap of Love is seeking compassionate veterinarians to join our growing team. Our doctors provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services, helping pets remain comfortable and surrounded by loved ones while guiding families through end-of-life decisions with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-home hospice consultations and euthanasia services for geriatric and terminally ill pets
- Compassionately guide families through end-of-life decisions
- Typically perform up to six appointments per day
- Maintain accurate medical records and appointment documentation
- Safely handle and maintain DEA-regulated medications
- Assist with aftercare arrangements and transportation of pets

Requirements
- DVM, VMD, BVM&S, or equivalent veterinary degree
- Active veterinary license and DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Any level of experience welcome
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and client service skills
- Ability to work independently while delivering compassionate, high-quality care
- Ability to safely handle and maintain DEA-regulated medications
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds independently
- Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel throughout the designated service area
- Ability to provide services in a variety of home environments
- Compassionate, adaptable, and self-motivated approach to patient care
