Description
Licensed Veterinary Technician in Neurology at VCA Midwest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center | Omaha, NESchedule: Full-time, 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday.
Compensation: $24-$32/hr. The starting pay is based on licensure, skill set, and years of experience.

What You'll Do
As a Neurology Veterinary Technician, you'll work closely with our neurologists to provide exceptional patient care throughout the diagnostic and treatment process.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with neurological examinations and patient assessments
- Prepare patients for MRI, CT, and advanced diagnostic procedures
- Monitor anesthesia and recover patients following diagnostic imaging and surgery
- Assist with neurosurgical procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection
- Monitor hospitalized neurology patients and recognize changes in condition
- Educate and support clients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with specialists and technicians across multiple departments to deliver outstanding patient care
