VCA Loomis Basin is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician Assistant to play a vital role in delivering a high level of patient care. As an entry-level position, this is a great start for those who are interested in veterinary medicine.

VCA Loomis Basin is an AAHA-accredited, 24/7 hospital that offers Emergency, General Practice, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, and Specialty Surgery. Duties Include:

• Patient Care: walking, ensuring access to clean water, and clean housing
• Assisting the Veterinary Technicians & Assistants with administering fluids, patient restraint, and other basic tasks
• Restraint for Radiographer
• Cleaning patient spaces and kennels
• Cleaning and packing instruments
• Stocking hospital departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Laundry for hospital to ensure towels, blankets and bedding are available when needed

Pay range for this position is $17.00-18.00/hr
